OUR MISSION

To preserve and promote Italian culture, language, history, cuisine and traditions; perform charitable works; and foster social interaction within the NH Lakes Region community.

CLUB FOUNDERS

With so many residents wanting to know more about Italian food, wine, customs and culture, Grace Distefano Grady and Jerry Grady founded the NH Lakes Region Italian Cultural Club in June 2007. Grace was born Graziosa Distefano in Italy and moved to the USA where she met her husband, Jerry who is Irish/French Canadian and has embraced the Italian culture. Grace and Jerry own a home with a small vineyard in Italy in the foothills of Mount Etna.

MEETINGS

We meet every last Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM.
Potential members are welcomed to attend one event/meeting without paying the club registration fee, but must make a reservation before attending.

Later in the evening, following refreshments, Salvatore performed a moving rendition of 'Caruso'.

A great time was had by all, even this 96 year old attendee!

... and there were dedication that night - this one to his 81 year old dad who along with his mother and other family members were in attendance. It was his dad, from Girifalcone, Calabria who taught Salvatore to play the guitar.
